Condominium Mafra 10
Housing Complex Project in a Rural Context
This project is set on a rectangular plot of land, with a gentle topography and in a peaceful rural setting. From the outset, the analysis of the site and the program provided by the Owner revealed the feasibility of building 10 residential houses. The proposal follows a principle of horizontal appropriation that favors a contemporary architectural language that is harmonious with its surroundings.
Implantation
The layout of the homes was carefully planned, respecting the constraints imposed by the administrative easement of the water domain, positioning the buildings tangentially to this boundary line, as illustrated in the presented plans. Each individual plot ranges from 250m² to 400m², with a total construction area of 168m². Each house consists of a ground floor and an upper floor, aligning with neighboring constructions and interacting seamlessly with the surrounding landscaped space. The facades have a maximum height of 6.50m, and the building height varies, adapting to the natural profile of the terrain.
Access and Parking
The main access to the site is via the municipal road “Caminho do Vale Grande,” which leads to a private entrance within the condominium. Access to the semi-detached houses is provided by a main two-way road with a substantial width in accordance with municipal regulations. Each house has an individual 3.00m wide one-way access that leads directly to the private garage.
Functional Characterization
Each house was designed to maximize the connection with the outdoors and provide a comfortable and modern living experience. The main pedestrian entrance leads directly to the ground floor via a walkway paved with white concrete slabs, creating a smooth and elegant transition.
The ground floor houses the social area of the home, consisting of a spacious living room, a practical kitchen, and a guest bathroom. This space is complemented by an exterior garden, perfect for leisure and family gatherings. The upper floor, accessible by internal stairs, is the private area, featuring two en-suite bedrooms with private bathrooms and two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom. The large windows offer stunning views of the rural landscape, creating a continuous connection between the interior and exterior.
This project combines functionality, comfort, and a contemporary aesthetic that respects and enhances the rural environment in which it is set, providing superior quality of life and a harmonious integration with nature.
