Two Houses in Sobral Monte Agraço

Single-Family Housing Project in Horizontal Property

This project involves the creation of two single-family homes within a building under horizontal property ownership, consisting of two units with a common access and independent use. The homes are developed on a single floor above the ground level, with a total gross construction area of 537.97 m².

The houses stand out for their direct connection to the ground level, which guides the functional organization of the ground floor. The main pedestrian access leads directly to the ground floor, located at an elevation of 275.40 meters, via a path made of a semi-permeable “grass grid.”

On the ground floor of each house, the layout of the spaces follows a clear programmatic logic. The social area, consisting of a living and dining room, kitchen, a guest bathroom, and a laundry room, is complemented by a generous garden area to the south, providing an outdoor leisure space.

Also on the same floor, the private area is located in a southern extension of the building, where a suite with a full bathroom and three additional bedrooms sharing a bathroom are situated. Bedrooms 02, 03, and the suite enjoy direct and privileged access to the backyard, also located to the south.

Taking advantage of the natural slope of the land, the construction of a surface-level, covered, and private garage is planned on the northern side, which also includes a storage space. This solution provides practicality and organization, blending harmoniously into the overall design of the project.

This project combines functionality, comfort, and a strong connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, providing a balanced living environment tailored to contemporary lifestyles.
