Lhado Apartment
The 90 m² Lhado Apartment in Lisbon is an interior renovation project that starts from a clear premise: the existing space has good bones – good sun exposure, generous ceilings and a consolidated location – but its organization compromised its residential potential.
Minimum intervention, maximum impact. The strategy centered on removing two elements that blocked the flow between the kitchen, dining room and living room. The result is a continuous piece that serves as the heart of the apartment – spacious, bright and versatile.
Rooms and wet areas. The two bedrooms have been kept in their original position, but have been given new built-in closet solutions that free up floor space and give them a cleaner look. The main bathroom has been completely renovated: Italian shower, large-format ceramic tiles and built-in technical lighting.
Material palette. The choice of a restrained palette – natural oak, matt white and brushed steel in the hardware details – creates visual coherence throughout the space. The carpentry was designed from scratch by the studio and executed by local craftsmen.
Project completed with full construction supervision by the Tiago R. Correia Arquitectos team.
